Ian

Played sports growing up. In high school, he became fascinated with the athleticism of breaking (b-boying). In secret, on days when he didn’t have soccer practice, he would go to his local gym and dance, trying out not just breaking, but hip hop’s sub styles such as animation, tutting, and popping. Junior year of high school, he attended Bates Dance Festival and it overwhelmed him with joy - it was the first place Ian shared his craft with the world. As a reintroduction, he decided to go by the name “Seven”.

Seven

a year later,

got accepted into the school of dance at the University of the Arts. Spending 3 years there, Seven took in as much information as he possibly could from every avenue of dance - no matter how far away it seemed from his background - so that he can best be of service to the world in his work. Sophomore year, professors Kyle and Dinita Clark took Seven under their wing as a member of Just Sole! Street Dance Theater Company. That same year, Seven was chosen to represent the school at CAMPING, an international dance event in Pantin, France. In Fall 2025, Seven graduated early with a BFA in dance. He is currently based in Philadelphia and working as a freelancer.
